Whitney Berry

Over the past few years, Whitney has developed a passion for understanding the social and environmental impacts of urban development. She is an undergraduate student majoring in Urban Studies and is researching food systems and agricultural land use in urban regions for her senior thesis. This past summer Whitney returned to her hometown in Los Angeles while she worked as a GIS intern for South Bay Cities Council of Governments. She is excited to be a part of the Shenzhen-San Jose-Bangalore Project and to support the identification of alternative, environmentally sustainable urban growth patterns.
