Linh Phuong PhamLinh Phuong Pham is a graduate student at Stanford Interdisciplinary Program in Environment and Resources in 2004. Linh grew up in Vietnam. After graduating from Vietnam National University with Honors in Ecology, she worked at the Vietnam Environmental Agency where her responsibilities focused on wetlands. She helped develop and monitor the implementation of environmental polices affecting wetlands and to coordinate wetland conservation projects in the country. Linh won a fellowship from the Russell E. Train Foundation of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to do her master’s degree in Environmental Sciences at the University of East Anglia, UK. She also received various other awards, including scholarships from the German Educational Exchange Service and the Mitshubishi Bank. Prior to coming to the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Environment and Resources, Linh joined the Sustainable Business Group of PriceWaterhouseCooper in London in their work to consult with World Wildlife Fund Europe in setting strategies to address the threat of climate change to the North-east Atlantic Marine Ecoregion. |
